Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Country Draw ("we", "us", or "the game") handles information when you visit and play. Country Draw is a free, browser-based geography drawing game. We are committed to collecting as little data as possible and being transparent about what little we do rely on.

Information we collect

The short answer: almost none. Specifically:

  • No accounts or personal data. Country Draw has no sign-up, login, or profile system. We never ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying information.
  • No form submissions. There is no contact form, comment system, or user-generated content stored on our servers.
  • No local storage. The game does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or cookies to remember you. Each visit starts fresh — close the tab and your drawing is gone.

Third-party services

Country Draw runs on third-party infrastructure that may process basic technical data (such as IP addresses and request timestamps) as part of delivering the page to your browser. These services have their own privacy policies:

  • Cloudflare. The game is hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP address, time, requested URL) for security and performance purposes. See theCloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense. We may display ads through Google AdSense. If enabled, Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visitingGoogle Ads Settings. See theGoogle advertising privacy policy.
  • Natural Earth & GitHub. When you play, your browser fetches the country outline data from the public Natural Earth dataset hosted on GitHub. This is an outbound request for map data only — no information about you is sent beyond your browser's standard request headers.

Cookies

Country Draw itself does not set any cookies. The only cookies you may encounter come from third parties — primarily Google AdSense, if advertising is active. These third-party cookies are governed by the respective providers' policies linked above.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from playing the game.

How we use information

Any technical data processed by our hosting and advertising partners is used solely to serve the game, keep it secure, and — where applicable — display relevant ads. We do not sell, rent, or trade any data, and we do not build user profiles.

Information sharing

We do not share any personal information with third parties, because we do not collect any. The only data sharing that occurs is the minimal technical routing required by Cloudflare and Google AdSense to function, as described above.

Data security

Because Country Draw stores no user data on its own servers, there is no personal data database to breach. We rely on our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to secure the infrastructure that delivers the page.

Children's privacy

Country Draw is a geography game suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. No data is gathered that would require parental consent under COPPA or similar regulations.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. If you live in a region with privacy regulations like the GDPR (EU) or CCPA (California), your rights apply primarily to the third-party services described above — contact those providers directly to exercise them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the game's dependencies change (for example, if we enable a new analytics or advertising service). Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
